The Port Stanley Festival theatre is delighted to be presenting the world premiere
production of "Five Alarm" by up and coming playwright Kristen Da Silva as its fourth
offering of the 2017 summer season. Running from July 26th, in our newly renovated
Grace Auditorium, this sparkling brand-new comedy enjoys a three-week run with a
closing night August 12th.
Starring Franny McCabe-Bennett ("Perfect Wedding", "Avenue Q", and "Gulliver's Travels"),
Danielle Nicole ("Ladies Foursome", Sexy Laundry", "Night of the Living Dead", and
"Moose on the Loose"), Tyler Rive ("Blind Date", The Mystery of Evelyn Strange",
and "Laughing Wild"), Jane Spence ("The Birds and the Bees", "Calendar Girls" and
"Ed's Garage"), and Jeffrey Wetsch("The Melville Boys", "Deathtrap", and "The Great
Gatsby"), "Five Alarm" is directed by Artistic Director Simon Joynes, and Stage
Managed by Lani Martel, with Set Design by Joshua Quinlan, and Lighting Design by
"Ava Rose has tried (and failed) to win the Wayne Rose Memorial Chili Cook Off for
16 years, but this year it's going to be different! With an iron will, an assistant
who knows nothing, and a five-time champion as her bitter rival, Ava Rose strives
for triumph in this zany comedy as sweet as it is spicy."
With a varied season, which will appeal to single ticket buyers, subscribers, and
tour groups alike, the Port Stanley Festival Theatre provides another season of
top quality entertainment in 2017.
