Lambeth Domination Hits Port Stanley

On Saturday, October 28th, 2017 the Port Stanley Sailors played game thirteen of the season against the Lambeth Lancers at the Port Stanley Arena. With the Sailors missing some key players, and Lambeth leading the League so far this season, it will be a very tough game for the Sailors to win.

The Lancers seemed to control the puck most of the time due to some great stick handling and thoughtful passing that way too often seemed to find a path though Port Stanley's defence. Lambeth's first goal at 6:28 was made by Deon Truong (15), assisted by Alex Schramowsky (2), and Brock Trichilo (19). Less than a minute later at 7:07, Donny Manzara (6) scored the Lancers second goal, with Grant Duffield (21), and Tyler Kippax (11) assisting.

The Sailors seemed to do a better job in the second period keeping the puck out of the net as only one goal got past Sam Popen (41), and that one was on a power play at 8:03 by Keith Arnold (3) for Lambeth's third goal of the evening, with assists to Andrew Chambers (18), and Ray Robbins (14). The second period ended with the Lancers leading the Sailors by three.

The third period was Port Stanley's last chance at turning the game around but all hope slowly faded away due to the Lancers constant ability to break through the Sailors defence for another shot on goal. In the first minute of the third period at 0:48, Lancers Andrew Chambers (18) scored number four, assisted by Ray Robbins (14), and Carson Esipu (22). Lambeth's fifth goal went in at 5:20 by Brock Trichilo (19), with assists going to Evan Hogg (4), and Deon Truong (15). The Lancers continued those end to end rushes with more success at 8:46 when Andrew Chambers (18) scored Lambeth's sixth goal, assisted by Ray Robbins (14), and Evan Hogg (4). Just past the halfway mark at 10:39 Lambeth's Mitchell Jenner (8) scored the final goal of the game, with assists to Kyle Hunter (9), and Brock Trichilo (19) to give Lambeth's goalie a shutout and win to the Lancers with a final score of Lambeth Lancers 7 - Port Stanley Sailors 0.
