On Saturday, November 24th, 2018 the Port Stanley Sailors played their twentieth game of the PJHL Regular 2018 - 2019 Season against the Lucan Irish at the Port Stanley Arena.

The first goal of the game was made at 5:40 of the first period on a power play by Lucan's Dillon Saunders (11) assisted by Cameron Amos (24), and Jason Braun (23). Less than a minute later at 6:30 the Sailors took back control of the game with the next four goals with credit for the first to Nick Love (17) assisted by Tyler Foslett (9). Port Stanley's second goal at 9:43 was an unassisted effort by Garrett Wells (24). Just four seconds later at 9:47 Sailors third goal was made by Austin Muscutt (3) assisted by Tyler Foslett (9). Port Stanley's fourth goal was made twenty-two seconds later at 10:09 by Derek Smith (10), assisted by Luke Colafranceschi (27) and Brent Brooks (6) which caused Lucan to change their goalie. Just past the halfway mark of the first period the Sailors were now leading 4-1 and seemed destined to easily take the win. With a 1 minute twenty-two seconds left in the period Lucan's Zachary Smith (16) assisted by David Gysbers (54) made Lucan's second goal. Shots on goal for the period were Lucan Irish 16 - Port Stanley Sailors 24.

The Sailors went into the second period with a two goal advantage, but Lucan came back from the break determined to take back control of the game. Three minutes into the period Sailors Harrison Bell (14), assisted by Anthony Pileggi (11) and Garrett Wells (24) managed to add another to Port Stanley's lead. After almost eleven minutes of play in the second period Lucan's luck began to change when Cameron Amos (24), assisted by Ethan Roche (21) and Brandon Sanders (10) put in Lucan's third goal of the evening. With less than two minutes left in the period and a Sailors player in the penalty box, Lucan's Brandon Sanders (10), assisted by Jason Braun (23) and Dillon Saunders (11) managed to bring the Irish within one goal of Port Stanley's lead. Thirty-nine seconds later at 18:53 Lucan's Dillon Saunders (11), assisted by Jason Braun (23) tied the game. Shots on goal for the period were Lucan Irish 14 - Port Stanley Sailors 9.

With only 20 minutes left and the game tied, the Sailors came back from the break determined to give every remaining effort to win the game. The Sailors game plan seemed to be working at 5:26 when Lane Westgate (23), assisted by Anthony Pileggi (11) and Harrison Bell (14) put Port Stanley back in the lead. The Sailors kept the lead for the next eleven minutes but Lucan came back to tie the game at 16:42 with Brody Thompson (28), assisted by Brandon Jesson (19) taking credit. The winning goal came at 19:22 during a Sailors penalty by Lucan's Brandon Sanders (10), assisted by Brandon Jesson (19) and Jason Braun (23). The Sailors did pull their goalie in the remaining time left in the period but never managed that tying goal. Shots on goal for the period were Lucan Irish 13 - Port Stanley Sailors 15.
