Twenty-six seconds later at 17:29, the Sailors managed to steal the lead from the Hawks with credit going to Tyler Foslett (9), with assists to Austin Muscutt (3), and Brady Allen (2). The Sailors went into the third period leading by one, but the Hawks soon took control at 0:38 tying the game from a shorthanded goal by Jonathon Frook (23), with assists to Avery Timmermans (2), and Jon Baker (14). Bad news for Sailors came at 7:20 when that tie turned into the Hawks leading by one from efforts by Jon Baker (14), with assists to Jonathon Frook (23), and Ian Vandenheuvel (7). Good news for the Sailors came at 9:06 when Nick Love (17) managed to bring back that tie game for Port Stanley, with assists to Nikolas Caetano (7), and Ethan Parent (22). The third period ended with the game tied causing the game to go into overtime. Shots on goal for the period were Dorchester Dolphins 10 - Port Stanley Sailors 6.
