On Saturday, November 10th, 2018 the Port Stanley Sailors played their seventeenth game of the PJHL Regular 2018 - 2019 Season against the Dorchester Dolphins at the Port Stanley Arena.

This game against Dorchester seemed to be the challenge the Sailors have been waiting for, as the home team seemed to be playing all out to win. A Dorchester player in the penalty box at 12:14 of the first period helped Sailors Luke Colafranceschi (27) with assistance from Derek Smith (10) get the first goal of the game. That lead disappeared at 15:24 when Dolphins Dylan Van Dusen (25) assisted by Jovin Eterno (9) tied the game. Port Stanley managed another power play goal at 17:45 to take back the lead when Sailors Derek Smith (10) went all the way unassisted against Dolphins goalie Matt Waller. Shots on goal for the period were Dorchester Dolphins 14 - Port Stanley Sailors 12.

The Sailors went into the second period leading by one, but Dorchester came back from the break determined to take back control of the game. After almost seventeen minutes of some great hockey Sailors Tyler Simon (25) assisted by Tyler Foslett (9) extended Port Stanley lead in the second period. Shots on goal for the period were Dorchester Dolphins 16 - Port Stanley Sailors 9.

The Sailors went into the third period leading 3-1, but with 20 minutes left in the game it was going to be an uphill challenge to keep that lead. After only 32 seconds of play Port Stanley's lead began to disappear when Dolphins Jovin Eterno (9) assisted by Noah Small (16), managed the first of four Dorchester goals would forever change the game. Credit for the second goal at 7:02 went to Nolan Blewett (15) during a power play, assisted by Turner Balasin (17) and Colin Osler (22). The third goal at 8:40 happened during another Sailors penalty with credit again going to Nolan Blewett (15) with Turner Balasin (17) and Colin Capstick (24) assisting. Dorchester's fourth and final goal of the period at 15:04 happened while the Dolphins were shorthanded with credit to Dylan Buckholz (6) and Nolan Blewett (15) to give the Dolphins a 5-3 lead. At 16:58 Port Stanley's Lane Westgate (23) assisted by Erik Scherer (21) and Anthony Pileggi (11) scored the last goal of the game giving the win to Dorchester by one.
