On Saturday, January 11th, 2020 the Port Stanley Sailors played their thirty-sixth game of the PJHL Regular 2019 - 2020 Season against the Thamesford Trojans at the Port Stanley Arena.

The first period began with the Trojans taking the lead at 3:01 with the first goal of the game by Cole Schnittiker (20) assisted by Luke Caldarozzi (19). Another two Thamesford goals followed : The first at 11:27 by Spencer Mills (21) with Ray Robbins (17) assisting; The second at 15:56 with Lucas Ojero (22) scoring with assists to Chris Dimmers (14) and Jared Caldarozzi (10). At 18:34 Port Stanley got on the scoreboard with that credit going to Josh Vanbesien (27) assisted by Patrick Aldridge (8). With twenty-one seconds left in the period Thamesford's Matt Granger (23) assisted by Chris Dimmers (14) managed to get another puck past Sailors Catalin Morin (1) to end the period with a 4-1 lead. Thamesford Trojans had the advantage for the period with shots on goal at 19 with the Sailors taking only 9 as per score sheet.

Thamesford's continued pressure by taking the most shots paid off big time during the second period with another five goals: The first at 7:40 by Ryan Tremblett (12) assisted by Ray Robbins (17) and Spencer Mills (21); The second at 13:10 by Cody Brock (8) assisted by Luke Caldarozzi (19) and Dillon Hunter (6); The third eleven seconds later at 13:21 by Tyler Arndt (9) assisted by Tristan Walsh (3) and Channin George (4); Then at 14:43 this time a power play goal by Matt Granger (23) assisted by Chase Schnittker (7) and Ryan Tremblett(12); And finally at 18:06 Trojans fifth by Chase Schnittker (7) assisted by Lucas Ojero (22) and Chris Dimmers (14). Thamesford Trojans had a huge advantage for the period with 25 shots on goal versus the Port Stanley Sailors taking only 2 as per score sheet.

That Thamesford aggressive nature seemed to ease during the third period but still managed another three goals: The first at 1:37 by Lucas Ojero (22) assisted by Jared Caldarozzi (10) and Matt Granger (23); The second at 7:10 with Lucas Ojero (22) scoring his third goal of the evening with Kurtis White (16) and Chris Dimmers (14) assisting; And finally Trojans last goal of the game at 19:43 with Channin George (4) scoring assisted by Kurtis White (16). Shots on goal for the period were Thamesford Trojans 14 - Port Stanley Sailors 8 as per score sheet. It certainly doesn't come as a surprise that the Trojans won the game 12-1 especially after taking over three times as many shots at the net at 58 to Port Stanley's 19.
