Breach of Peace leads to Resist Arrest Charge
On Sunday, August 5th at 2:15 am St. Thomas Police arrested a 19 year old female
for breach of the peace and resist arrest. The female was involved in a verbal domestic
which prompted the police to attend the couple's residence. The officers attempted
to resolve the situation but the female then began to direct her anger towards the
officers and came towards them in an aggressive manner. The female was then arrested
for breach of the peace and when the officers tried to gain control of her she began
to resist their efforts to do this. The female was subsequently restrained and transported
the the police station where she was later released with a future court date for
Unlawfully in a Dwelling
The St. Thomas Police are seeking an arrest warrant for a 31 year old St. Thomas
male for Mischief to Property and Unlawfully in a Dwelling House. The male attended
a south side residence looking for his ex-girlfriend. The male forced his way into
the residence causing damage to the door and initiated conversation with the ex-girlfriend
who told the accused to leave. The female left the apartment, being followed by
the male who eventually left in his vehicle.
Woman arrested on Warrants
On Saturday, August 4th at approximately 9:00 pm St. Thomas Police arrested a 41
year old St. Thomas woman on several outstanding warrants after receiving a call
regarding a disturbance at a north side residence. Police located the female involved
in the disturbance and she was subsequently arrested on the strength of the warrants.
The woman, who was also facing outstanding charges from another police agency was
held for court.
