March 10th, 2017 - On March 9th, 2017, as part of an active investigation, the St
Thomas Police Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a traffic stop Highbury Ave in St
Thomas at approximately 3:20pm. The driver of the vehicle, Richard Campbell, was
arrested at the scene. A large amount of Crystal Methamphetamine was located inside
the vehicle which was seized and towed to the St. Thomas Police Headquarters. Three
search warrants were conducted in various locations within the city in connection
with this investigation.
As a result of the search warrants police located and seized;
A replica firearm, 86.9 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, 40 Hydromorphone pills,
several thousand in Canadian Currency and have seized a truck as offence related
57-year old Richard Campbell, 41-year old David Parsons, and 41-year old Amanda
Marchand, all from St Thomas, have been charged with two counts of possession of
a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking.
Three additional St. Thomas residents are facing charges in relation to possession
of a controlled substance.
