April 15th, 2017 - On the 14th of April 2017, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the St.
Thomas Police stopped a 49 year old man operating an e-bike on Curtis Street in
the City of St. Thomas.
It was determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and was subsequently arrested
for driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
The man was further charged with 1 count of possession of a controlled substance,
and various offences in relation to the Highway Traffic Act.
The man was later released from custody and is to appear for a future court date.
