Volunteers and new 2019-20 Campaign Chair celebrated at United Way ChangeMakers awards

Goodwill Industries, London, ON - United Way Elgin Middlesex is proud to announce our community’s first ChangeMakers award winners. Ten individual volunteers and workplace teams were recognized tonight for their contributions to the 2018-19 United Way Campaign. The event was generously presented by Intact Insurance.

ChangeMakers also marked the debut of Christy Bacik, Managing Director, Freedom 55 Financial, a division of Canada Life, as the new Campaign Chair & Chief ChangeMaker, the local volunteer who will lead the 2019-20 United Way Campaign.

A special United Way National Community Champion Award was presented to local activist Mandi Fields, Community Relations, CTV London, for her outstanding achievement as founder of Tampon Tuesday, now a Canada-wide partnership between United Way Centraide Canada, the Canadian Labour Congress and Bell Media.
