March when the weather begins to stay warm enough for all the snow to disappear. In Port
Stanley, work usually begins around the beach when the snow fences one day disappear, taken
away and put into storage for another winter season. Next comes a thorough cleaning and
levelling of all the sand that seems to get into all the wrong places during those cold
If you were one of the lucky people to take a walk on the beach to see what emerged over
winter, it would not have taken long before you realized that leaving the beach "Au Naturel"

putting all this effort into creating a pristine environment for tourists makes for good
economic sense for the hometown businesses.

this year it will happen again this Easter weekend. Having everything nice, clean and open
will surely get those tourist's back in town. All we have to do now is figure out how to
keep the weather warm and sunny.
