Port Stanley Parade Dilemma

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, everyone should cherish this years Port Stanley Dicken's Days Parade for next year we might not have a parade. It's a subject that I haven't heard even a peep about, not even a whisper, by anyone. "Ba Humbug!"

With the ongoing Rehabilitation of the King George Vl Lift Bridge from March 2020 to May 2021, and the bridge being closed for the duration of that project, "Did I just see the Grinch", translates into our traditional Dicken's Days Parade route being effectively divided, or split into two sections.

When I stop and think about our options having a parade that starts on east side of Port Stanley and stops at the bridge in the middle, and then takes a half hour break to move to the other side of the bridge to restart on the west side of Port Stanley does seem to be just a little bit awkward. What say you?
