WPS  Suspicious Male and Stolen Vehicle

Friday, August 23, 2019 - On August 22, 2019, uniform members of the Woodstock Police Service responded to a call for a suspicious male and stolen vehicle in the Harford St. area. Ken SMITH, age 44 of Ingersoll, and Narissa CALHOUN, age 28 of London were arrested at the scene. A third party fled the area on foot. A foot pursuit and search were conducted with the assistance of the K9 Unit which resulted in the arrest of Riley BUDD, age 20 of Toronto. A stolen vehicle from the London area was recovered at the scene.

The Woodstock Police Service Criminal Intelligence/Drug Enforcement Unit and Criminal Investigations Branch continued with the investigation, which has resulted in the recovery of stolen property estimated at $15,000.00 and the seizure of cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl with a combined street value of approximately $39,000.00.

The investigation is on-going at this time and further charges may be pending.
