Tuesday, July 16, 2019 - Woodstock Police Service have been dealing with an increase
in 9-1-1 dropped calls – those made in error to the 9-1-1 Communications Centre.
Police are asking the public to ensure that their phones are locked and kept away
from small children. Police request that should the public be aware that they have
made a 9-1-1 call in error that they remain on the line and speak with the 9-1-1
Police want to ensure that resources are spent on dealing with actual emergencies
and not calls made in error.
