June 11th, 2019 - A sixty four year old St. Thomas man wanted on a warrant was arrested
yesterday around the noon hour on Talbot Street near Arthur Ave. The warrant was
issued after an incident back in May where the man was recorded on security video
using a stolen credit card. The man was taken into custody without incident and
charged two counts Use Stolen Credit Card. He was later released on a Promise to
Appear in Court.
Seven Day Impound
A twenty three year old Ilderton man was charged with Drive While Under Suspension
x2 during a traffic stop on Talbot near Horton Street yesterday evening around 6:30
pm. Officers pulled the driver over after noticing his licence plate permit had
expired and soon discovered he was a suspended driver. His vehicle was seized and
impounded for seven days under the Ontario Road Safety Act Vehicle Impoundment Program
which applies to drivers who have been suspended under Ontario’s Highway Traffic
Act and its regulations.
