STPS  Two Arrests  Theft


March 12th, 2019 - Police arrested a forty year old St. Thomas man yesterday afternoon around 3 pm after they located him hiding under a pickup truck in a parking lot near Walmart. Officers were searching for the man after he attempted to shoplift at Walmart and fled from Loss Prevention Officers. After he was arrested and charged with one count of Theft Under $5000, police discovered he was also wanted on a warrant by London Police. The man was taken into custody without incident held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for transport to London.


Police are looking for a female suspect after she was observed by staff stealing two bottles of rum from the LCBO last evening around 6 pm. The woman was last seen wearing a black coat with fur trim and blue jeans. She was carrying a black and white bag. Twenty nine year old Bradley Nathaniel Caruso of London wanted on a warrant by St. Thomas Police was arrested yesterday in London. London Police Officers were dealing with Caruso on an unrelated matter when they discovered the warrant. Caruso was taken into custody by London Officers without incident. He was transported from London to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where he was held overnight for court. The warrant stems from and incident back in February 2018 where Caruso is alleged to have attempted to steal twelve hundred dollars worth of trading cards from Walmart in St. Thomas. Caruso was arrested at the time of the theft but failed to appear for his court date.
