May 22nd, 2019 - A forty seven year old Courtland woman was arrested last evening and charged with one count of Theft Under $5000. The charge came after loss prevention officers at Walmart observed the woman walking through the grocery section of the store selecting various items and placing them in a reusable grocery bag. Police were called when the woman attempted to leave the store making no attempt to pay. Officers took her into custody without incident and recovered one hundred and fifty dollars in stolen products. She was later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.

Theft From Garage

St. Thomas Police are investigating after a bike was reported stolen from the garage of a residence on Wellington Street near Hedges Court. The bike is described as a girls youth size Trek Marlin 21 speed mountain bike, black and silver in colour. The bike went missing sometime between May 19th and the 21st.
