Possession Of Stolen Property
April 28th, 2019 - On Saturday April 27th, 2019 in the early evening, London Police
arrested a 31 year old male who was wanted by the St. Thomas Police for possession
of property obtained by crime over $5000. This was in relation to him being in possession
of a stolen truck the week before, which had been reported stolen from London. He
was released with a future court date.
Impaired Driver Arrested After Fleeing Scene
During the early morning hours on Sunday April 28th, 2019 a witness watched as a
car stuck a sign at the intersection of Talbot Street and First Avenue. The car
then fled south on First Avenue, where it was located at the Home Hardware parking
lot. The owner and driver; a 34 year old female resident of Aylmer was arrested
for Impaired Operation and Fail to Remain at the scene of an accident. The women
provided samples of her breath and was found to be double the legal limit. She was
additionally charged with Impaired operation- blood alcohol concentration over 80mgs.
She has since been released from custody with a future court date.
