Galvanized Fencing Stolen
June 20th, 2019 - St. Thomas Police are investigating after twenty eight sections
of galvanized fencing was stolen from a construction site located on Moore Street.
The theft happened sometime overnight Tuesday. If you have any information about

A twenty five year old St. Thomas man was arrested late last night just before midnight
after an altercation with his twenty nine year old girlfriend earlier in the day.
The two were talking that afternoon when the conversation escalated and the man
pulled a knife and threatened the female. The male was located by police later the
same day and taken into custody without incident. He was charged one count Utter
Threats, one count Assault With a Weapon and one count Breach of Release Conditions.
The man was held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court.
A sixteen year old was arrested last night around 9:30 pm during a traffic stop
on First Avenue near Locust Street. When questioned by police the youth gave a false
name allegedly trying to stop officers from finding out that he was currently at
large in the community released on conditions to obey a curfew of 9 pm and not to
associate or communicate with another youth he was travelling with in the vehicle.
The youth was taken into custody and charged two counts Breach of Release Conditions
and one count Obstruct Police. He was held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building
for Youth Court.
