May 16th, 2019 - A thirty eight year old Port Stanley man wanted on a warrant turned
himself in at the Colin McGregor Justice Building Wednesday afternoon around 4 pm.
The warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that happened the previous day at the
home of his former girlfriend who resides in St. Thomas. Police received a report
that the two had a verbal argument that became physical. As a result the man is
charged with one count Domestic Assault, one count Domestic Mischief to Property
and one Count Utter Threats. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The man was held in custody overnight for court the next morning.
A forty eight year old London man wanted on a warrant turned himself in at the Colin
McGregor Justice Building last evening around 6 pm. The warrant stems from reports
that the man continued to contact his forty two year old former girlfriend from
St. Thomas after being warned by police to cease communication. As a result the
man is charged one count Criminal Harassment. He was held in custody overnight for
court the next morning.
A thirty three year old St. Thomas man was arrested last night around 9:30 pm at
his residence and charged with one count of Assault after Child Welfare Workers
reported a child being injured to police. The child sustained bruising to its chest
and reported to authorities that the injury was the result of a physical altercation
with their father. The man was taken into custody without incident and held at the
Colin McGregor Justice Building for Court.
A thirty nine year old male was arrested early this morning around 3:30 am after
an argument with his forty three year old common law became physical. Minor injuries
were reported as a result of the altercation. The male was taken into custody without
incident and charged one count of Domestic Assault. He was held overnight at the
Colin McGregor Justice Building for Court later the same morning.
A twenty seven year old Aylmer woman was arrested yesterday evening around 8:30
pm on Curtis Street and charged one count Domestic Assault and one count Break and
Enter. The charges were laid after the woman assaulted her thirty one year old ex
boyfriend and then entered his apartment damaging his property. No injuries were
reported as the result of the incident. The woman was taken into custody without
incident and later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
Police are looking for a forty six year old St. Thomas man after he breached his
court ordered release conditions last night. The man’s surety called police to report
that the accused had not returned home to abide by his curfew of 10 pm to 6 am.
The man is now wanted and will be charged accordingly.
A twenty two year old St. Thomas woman wanted on a warrant was arrested on Wellington
Street early this morning around 3:30 am after officer spotted her walking down
the street. The warrant was issued after the woman failed to attend the Colin McGregor
Justice Building to have her fingerprints taken after being charged with one count
of Theft Under $5000.
