August 2nd, 2019 - A twenty eight year old St. Thomas man was arrested yesterday
afternoon around 12:30 pm at the Colin McGregor Justice Building. Officers were
dealing with the man on an unrelated matter when they discovered he was wanted on
a warrant for two counts Breach of Release Conditions. The man was taken into custody
without incident and transported to the Elgin County Court House for an appearance.
A twenty six year old man from Talbotville was arrested last night around 7:30 pm
at the Colin McGregor Justice Building. Officers were investigating a theft from
the Real Canadian Superstore that had been recorded on security video and identified
the man as the suspect. He was taken into custody without incident and charged one
count Theft Under $5000. He was later released on a Promise to Appear in court.
A thirty nine year old St. Thomas man and his twenty six year old female companion
were arrested early this morning around 3 am on Beverley Street. Police were dealing
with the couple on an unrelated matter when they discovered both of them were wanted
on warrants. The man and woman were taken into custody without incident and transported
to the Colin McGregor Justice Building for processing. The man was held for court
and the female was released on a Promise to Appear in Court. The man had several
warrants for Theft and the woman was wanted for Theft and Escape Lawful Custody.
