OPP  Fire at Wallacetown Residence No Injuries

Wallacetown, ON - The Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a house fire on Talbot Line between Coyne Road and Wallacetown, Ontario on March 15, 2019 around 5:00 a.m.

The lone occupant of the residence left without any injuries.

Dutton Fire Department attended the scene and was able to extinguish the fire. No other buildings sustained damage.

The roadway is still closed to facilitate the fire crew's safe access to the scene.

The roadway is anticipated to reopen before noon. Currently, the roadway is blocked at Currie Road and Coyne Road to east and west traffic on Talbot Line.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
