"The Wildest Town in Canada: Donnelly Songs and Stories" is a show that takes one
on a emotional trek back to some of the darkest days in Canadian history.
A combination of great music, song and Jeff Culbert's commentary conveys the story
of how the Donnellys, an Irish family who emigrated to Ontario in 1840 became a
lasting Canadian legend of conspiracy, tragedy and injustice in Lucan Biddulph township.
The music of Blair Heddle on fiddle and banjo, Dean Harrison on accordian, Joel
Gehman on electric guitar and Jeff Culbert on acoustic guitar deliver an amazing
musical mix that builds an emotional bond for each facet of the story.
Truly a must see show that will deliver an exquisite taste of music, song and Canadian
legend. "Hmm, only in Port Stanley!"
Tony Sclafani did an outstanding job on the lighting and set design, and credit
also goes to sound technician Zachery White for his work on this production. Show
is sponsored by
North Shore Retreats.
"The Wildest Town in Canada: Donnelly Songs and Stories" runs from May 21st to May
25th, 2019, and it's the show that you will want to remember the next time you visit
Lucan, Ontario.
