For the opening show in its new "Grace Auditorium", the Port Stanley Festival Theatre
is thrilled to kick off the 2017 summer season with "Oh Canada: We sing for thee!"
created by Leisa Way. Running from May 23rd, this foot-stomping musical revue enjoys
a two-week run with a closing night Saturday June 3rd.
Starring Leisa Way ("Rhinestone Cowboy", "Country Jukebox", "Anne of Green Gables",
"Showboat", and "The Sound of Music"), with the varied and considerable talents
of the Wayward Wind Band made up of Bobby Prochaska, Fred Smith, Bruce Ley, Nathan
Smith and Sam Cino, "Oh Canada: We sing for thee!" provides a fitting celebration
of Canada’s 150th Birthday .With music from Stan Rogers to Anne Murray, from Gordon
Lightfoot to BTO, from Michael Buble to the Guess Who, "Oh Canada: We sing for thee"
brings a non-stop parade of hits to the Port Stanley Festival stage.
