The World Premiere of "Buying The Farm" by Shelly Hoffman and Stephen Sparks is
a thoughtful lighthearted comedy about a Real Estate developer trying to buy a farm
for a new housing development who has finally met his match times two.
Jeff Culbert as Magnus, is an older farmer who is a lot smarter than he looks, has
preventable health issues, and could use some extra money for retirement. Matthew
Gormam as Brad, is in Real Estate sales trying to put together a new housing development,
and could use some help keeping clean. Shannon McCraken as Esme, is the Jackie
of all trades, not much she can't do according to Magnus, but has some secrets she's
not sharing. The group together meshes well bringing together an intriguing and delightfully
funny story that keeps you guessing on what will happen next.
Directed by Simon Joynes, "Buying The Farm" is a hit out the door, catching
the attention of the audience, and never letting go. A great story with plenty of
laughter, brought to the stage with that special PSFT touch, an unbeatable package,
that you won't soon forget.
