This One, now playing at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre until August 13th, 2016
delivers an unforgettable rollercoaster ride of emotional experience that keeps you glued to
Denise Mader as Denise, is a single, forty something, insecure, daughter,
who reminisces about family, especially her mother, and growing up on a farm,
while trying to bake a pecan pie, gives an amazing, energized solo performance
that is truly worthy of a standing ovation.
Written by Denise Mader and directed by Melee Hutton, this play was inspired,
after looking at the pictures on the stage wall, by Denise Mader's real life
experience's, and was brought to the stage, taking the audience, on a wonderful
journey to that place, close to the heart.
Joshua Quinlan did an outstanding job on the set design for this production. Credit
goes to Noel Wraight for the lighting design, Lani Martel as stage manager, Rebecca
Walsh as assistant stage manager, and Studio Style as show sponsor.
This One runs from July 27th to August 13th, 2016, and it's one you
will want to remember the next time you bake a pecan Pie!
