The Birds and the Bees, now playing at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre
until September 3rd, 2016 teaches us a simple lesson, that it's really hard to control
your libido once you start thinking about The Birds and the Bees.
Starring Susan Johnston as Gail, is a lonely mother, and beekeeper, who lives
alone until..., Jane Spence as Sarah, is a just separated, daughter, looking
for a place to stay..., Terry Barna as Earl, is a bachelor farmer who lives
across the road, but is always ready for some..., Ryan Bommarito as Ben,
is the young scientist doing research in the area, learning about the bees..., makes
for a great mix of actors, all believable, and delivering an amazingly funny, energized
performance that was truly worthy of the audience's standing ovation.
Written by Mark Crawford and directed by Simon Joynes, this play is a smash hit
out the door, catching the attention of the audience, and never letting go. A great
story with tons of laughter, brought to the stage with that special PSFT touch,
makes for an unbeatable package, that you won't soon forget.
Eric Bunnell did an outstanding job on the set design for this production. Credit
goes to Karen Crichton for the lighting design, Kevin Olsen as stage manager, Joe
Recchia as assistant stage manager, Alex Amini for costume design, and Wendy's as
The Birds and the Bees runs from August 17th to September 3rd, 2016, and
it's the Runaway Smash Hit Comedy that will keep you laughing every time you think
