Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Rodney - Shedden - Western Elgin County
  • St. Thomas - Aylmer - Eastern Elgin County

15 cm of snowfall expected Saturday.

Snow is expected to move into the area tonight as a low pressure system approaches. Snow will be heavy at times Saturday morning. The snow will transition to rain Saturday afternoon before changing to flurries Saturday night. Total snowfall amounts near 15 cm are likely.

Winds gusting up to 60 km/h will create areas of blowing snow giving reduced visibilities, particularly Saturday morning.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
