An intensifying low pressure system south of the Great Lakes will approach the Maritimes on Tuesday.

Snow will begin over western New Brunswick Tuesday morning and spread to the remainder of the province during the day. A changeover to rain will occur Tuesday afternoon along the Fundy coast and over the remainder of southern New Brunswick Tuesday night.

There is a snowfall warning currently in effect for northern New Brunswick with up to 25 centimetres expected. 5 to 10 centimeters of snow is expected over southern New Brunswick before the changeover to rain.
